Job Summary/Overview
In the US Healthcare Voice Process role at Firstsource, you will assist Medicare-eligible individuals by answering their inquiries and providing information on various Medicare benefits. This position is unique as it combines the ability to help others with the chance to learn and grow within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist Medicare-eligible individuals over the phone, explaining features and benefits of various Medicare programs.
- Learn and articulate multiple Medicare products through classroom training and on-the-job coaching.
- Adhere to a structured schedule and be punctual for breaks and meals.
- Respond to benefit inquiries and assist with customer requests effectively.
- Make outbound calls and manage transfers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Handle special projects and non-phone related tasks as directed.
- Process non-phone functions, including billing inquiries and account maintenance.
Expectations
- Resolve member and provider issues promptly and precisely through inbound calls.
- Utilize various computer systems to retrieve necessary member and provider information.
- Update and process information accurately to meet customer requests.
- Maintain professionalism by being polite, patient, and empathetic during interactions.
- Express information confidently and clearly to establish rapport with callers.
