Vacancy Details
This recruitment drive will fill a total of 40 positions divided among three roles:
- Sr. Software Trainee-I: 15 vacancies
- Jr. Software Trainee-I: 15 vacancies
- Software Professionals-I: 10 vacancies
Reservation Categories: UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwBD as per government norms.
Place of Posting: Initial posting will be at BEL Software Division, Bengaluru, with transferability to any project location across India.
Job Responsibilities
Candidates selected for these roles will engage in various critical tasks such as:
- Software development and testing
- Providing IT support and maintenance

- Willingness to travel extensively as per project requirements
Eligibility Criteria
Sr. Software Trainee-I
- Educational Qualification: MCA or M.Sc in Computer Science (Pass Class)
- Age Limit: Max 28 years (age relaxation applicable)
- Experience: 0-1 year (Freshers are welcome to apply)
Jr. Software Trainee-I
- Educational Qualification: BCA or B.Sc in CS/IT (Pass Class)
- Age Limit: Max 26 years (age relaxation applicable)
- Experience: 0-1 year (Freshers are welcome to apply)
Software Professionals-I
- Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in CS/IS/IT/Data Science/AI
- Age Limit: Max 40 years
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in software development/testing (Only industrial experience counts)
Selection Process
For Sr. & Jr. Software Trainees
- Written Test: 100 Marks
- Merit-based selection (category-wise and discipline-wise)
For Software Professionals-I
- Written Test: 85 Marks
- Interview: For shortlisted candidates after the written test
- Final selection based on combined scores from both the written test and interview
Note: A CGPA to percentage conversion certificate is required when applicable.
Salary Structure & Benefits
Sr. Software Trainee-I:
- Year 1: ₹35,000/month
- Year 2: ₹40,000/month
- Year 3: ₹45,000/month (if extended)
Jr. Software Trainee-I:
- Year 1: ₹25,000/month
- Year 2: ₹28,000/month
- Year 3: ₹31,000/month (if extended)
Software Professionals-I:
- Year 1: ₹60,000/month
- Possible increase to ₹75,000/month in Year 4
Annual Allowances:
- Trainees: ₹12,000/year for attire, insurance, etc.
- Professionals: ₹20,000/year
Mandatory Insurance (at Joining):
- Medical Insurance: ₹2 Lakhs/year
- Life & Accident Insurance: ₹5 Lakhs for Trainees / ₹10 Lakhs for Professionals
Contract Terms
- Sr. & Jr. Software Trainees: 2 years (extendable by 1 year)
- Software Professionals-I: 3 years (extendable by 1 year)
Continuation is performance-based and subject to BEL’s project needs.
